Home / Singita Serengeti House
Nestled within the western corridor of the renowned Serengeti National Park, Singita Serengeti House stands as a haven for guests seeking exclusive-use accommodation and access to a vast 350,000-acre expanse of private land. This unique offering provides an unparalleled and intimate private safari experience in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations.
With its prime location and the luxury of having the entire house exclusively for your group, Singita Serengeti House allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty and wildlife of the Serengeti, creating unforgettable memories in the heart of this remarkable wilderness.
Singita Serengeti House is a hidden gem located in the western part of the Serengeti within the private Grumeti Reserve. This exquisite property offers exclusive-use accommodation for up to 8 guests, providing a truly intimate and luxurious safari experience. The house features 2 spacious suites within the main house and 2 additional garden suites, each housed in separate buildings. All of these suites are equipped with private outdoor showers and terraces.
The main house of Serengeti House is a true sanctuary of comfort and relaxation, with expansive dining and lounge areas, generous decked spaces featuring day beds, a 25-meter swimming pool, and even a private tennis court. Despite its luxurious amenities, Serengeti House manages to maintain a homely and welcoming atmosphere, offering a high level of privacy for all its guests.
Positioned on the lower slopes of Sasakwa Hill, Serengeti House provides breathtaking views of the wide Serengeti plains, and guests can enjoy watching wildlife at a nearby watering hole.
As with all of Singita’s properties, Serengeti House offers an exceptional safari experience year-round. However, for those seeking the spectacle of the Great Migration, the best time to visit is in June and early July. Combining a stay at Serengeti House with a lodge inside the National Park can create a well-rounded safari experience, especially if you’re traveling during a season when the migration is not in the Grumeti region.
Singita’s commitment to excellence is evident in the food, service, and guiding at Serengeti House. The exclusivity of this property allows for a highly personalized experience, where your day can be tailored to your exact preferences. Whether you desire a leisurely lie-in or a full-day safari adventure, your personal guide, chef, and host will ensure your wishes and needs are met.
With Singita’s private concession, activities are more flexible compared to the National Park. Guests can enjoy game drives with off-roading, walking safaris, night drives, and even horse riding safaris for experienced riders.
While the Serengeti can become busy during its peak season, staying at Singita Serengeti House affords you the opportunity to escape the crowds and relish a first-class, exclusive, and personalized safari experience that will leave an indelible mark.
A typical Northern Tanzania itinerary often includes a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater Area for a few days before flying to the Serengeti. The Crater is a fantastic wildlife destination, but due to its compact size, a day of safari there is typically sufficient. Other activities in the area include visits to local Maasai tribes and hiking.
Once you reach the Serengeti, your focus becomes all about safari. Witnessing the Great Migration with millions of wildebeest following the annual rains is awe-inspiring. Combining two lodges, one inside the National Park and one in a private concession, provides access to the best of both worlds: the migration and a variety of activities without the crowds.
There are numerous options for a safari in the Serengeti, each offering different deals and packages. Whether you’re on a honeymoon or planning an extended stay, consulting with one of our Tanzania experts can help you explore the various options and deals available to create the perfect safari experience.
Singita Serengeti House is a true masterpiece. The blend of luxury, stunning wilderness, and top-notch service is unparalleled. It's a haven where memories are made, and every moment feels like a dream. Highly recommended for an unforgettable safari experience.
